Based on the successful premier pizza contest held annually since 1998 in Australia, the Global Pizza Challenge has been brought to Thailand in 2010 by Global Pizza Challenge in Partnership with Fonterra Food services.
The contest was set up to encourage and support the independent pizza sector and to encourage new ideas and innovation.

Whether the pizzeria is a stand-alone restaurant, takeaway, part of a hotel, suburban outlet or in a trendy part of town – the competition is open to all individual pizza makers who care about their product.

The Challenge
All pizzerias are invited to send in their recipes.

The recipes are then assessed by an internationally recognised chef for originality, balance, creativity and excitement factor.

All qualifying finalists are invited to attend the final, where they will be required to cook 4 pizzas in any of the four following categories:

  • Chicken or meat
  • Seafood
  • Vegetarian
  • Specialty or dessert.

One contestant will be chosen as the Thailand winner of the Global Pizza Challenge.

Awards & Prizes
Each Finalist will receive a Certificate of Participation for each completed judged pizza.

Each finalist’s participating pizza outlet will receive an official Global Pizza Challenge – Thailand 2010 finalist window decal.

There will be ONE winner of the Thailand version of the Global Pizza challenge 2010 and THEY will represent Thailand at the Global Finals in Australia in 2011 in Melbourne Australia.

Flights and accommodation and meals for the Global Final in Australia form part of the prize for the Australian Winner of the Thailand Global Pizza Challenge.
